Platinum Jubilee School & Junior College, Gadchiroli Established in 1972 by the Platinum Jubilee Education Society, Platinum Jubilee School & Junior College holds the distinction of being the first English medium school in Gadchiroli district. Since its inception, it has played a pioneering role in transforming the educational landscape of the region. Today, along with its foundational wing, Little Platinum, the institution stands as a premier co-educational center of learning, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offering quality education from Playgroup to Class XII.
With a steadfast commitment to holistic student development, the school has consistently embraced innovation and best practices in education. In 2012-13, the institution entered into a strategic partnership with Adhyayan, an educational consultancy focused on improving school effectiveness by integrating insights from both Indian and international education systems. This collaboration has significantly enriched the school’s approach to child-centric learning and institutional development.
In its pursuit of academic excellence and future-readiness, the school partnered with Oxford Advantage & Oxford Inspire in the 2021–2022 academic year. This initiative brought in a comprehensive IT curriculum, equipping students with essential digital skills aligned with industry standards. It enables learners to develop technological fluency, preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital world.
To strengthen English language proficiency, the school has also incorporated Burlington English into its curriculum. This blended learning platform combines classroom instruction with online resources to enhance communication skills and career readiness, helping students gain confidence in using English in real-life contexts.
True to its mission of nurturing 21st-century skills, Platinum Jubilee School ensures that its classrooms foster interactive and engaging learning. Every classroom is equipped with an 85-inch interactive panels, supporting activity-based, student – cetered pedagogy that encourages critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
Beyond academics, the school is deeply committed to fostering all-round development. Its students have proudly represented the school at state and national levels in a range of disciplines — from martial arts, archery, karate, and badminton to science seminars and academic competitions.
